Miffed!!

I just spent 30 minutes in the apartment manager's office with my cancelled check while she flipped through all sorts of paperwork and still can't come up with where my check was recorded. I have the damn cancelled check...someone got my rent money!!!

Legally all you had to do was prove they cashed the check. I would think you could sue for hassesment beyond anything else. It is there problem to figure out where they screwed up.
